Hydrospeed is the one and only sport in which you can become a part of the river, part of its waves, streams and enjoying relaxation on the white sands and nice warm sun. It is also competition with you friends - who is faster, who can understand the river better...
Hydrospeed or river-bob means swimming in the river with a plastic bob and fins. Sport comes originally from New Zealand, motherland of many adrenaline sports. Different like in raft or kayak, where you look at the river from its surface, with hydrospeed you are a part of the river. A plastic bob gives you buoyancy, you are dressed in a neoprene suit with extra protection for the knees and elbows to keep you warm and you get the fins to steer. Of course you have a guide in a kayak for safety with you on the river, which also explains you all about the "finning" technique and safety.
