Itinerary

Arrival to village Krka, followed by a warm welcome of the local  crew!  Kayaking on river Krka with Borut, an Olympic coach-instructor (Barcelona, Atlanta).
Everyone receives its own equipment, we go down to the river. Getting to know equipment, paddling basics during a short introduction course you will start a 9 km long journey down the Krka river. After kayaking, welcome to local guesthouse for lunch or early dinner. Local wines, home made bread, fresh trouts and more, will leave impressions on you  for a long time.

The programme and degree of the river course is always adjusted to the knowledge of the participants, which ensures a maximum advance of a kayaker.

morning departure: 9 am (on request)
afternoon departure: 2 pm
travel time: 1 hour
return time:  1 pm or 7 pm
kayaking time: 3 hrs, length: 9 km
river rapid grade: II-III, depends on latest rainfall.

Note: No prevous knowledge of kayaking is needed. Beginner or advanced 2 or more days kayak courses also available.

Swimsuit & towel, pair of sneakers or flipflops, sport clothes & sweater.

Note:We accept bookings untill office closure hour, that is 8.pm,  on day before departure, via E-mail or phone or ask at the reception desk!
We do departures to all tours on request. It takes min 2 people to do the tour!

Why to book this tour

Only 30 min South of Ljubljana, a half day tour, a great get away from the summer city heat to the  green of South Slovenia. From its spring to the outfall to the Sava river, it flows 93 km across Dolenjska region. Discovering the river banks of an unspoiled nature, passing old water mills.
